APRIL 5 - HISTORIC HOMES TOUR
The Historic Homes of Knoxville will be offering tours in celebration of our community and the Dogwood Arts Festival. A choice of 3 sites per route will be offered and KAT buses will provide transportation. Tours will begin at 9:00 and 1:00 for each route and last three hours. Reservations for the tours are $15/person and may be purchased through Knox Heritage @ 865-523-8008
APRIL 20 - VICTORIAN TEA
Join us this spring at the Mabry-Hazen House and enjoy our Annual Victorian Tea. Costs are $25 per seat and $100 per table.
MAY 10 - LIVING HISTORY EVENT
Enjoy a more in-depth perspective of the history of the Mabry and Hazen families through historical interpretations and reenactors.
JUNE 1 - TN STATEHOOD DAY
In celebration of our statehood the museum will be open to the public for free. For large groups please call in advance.
JUNE 21 - PICINIC AND SUMMER CONCERT
Pack your lunch and cooler and enjoy live music and a great view atop Mabry’s Hill on a wonderful summer afternoon. The musical group will be announced soon on our website.
JULY 26 -SUMMER TEA
Less formal than our Victorian Teas but just as much fun! Enjoy a summer day on Mabry’s Hill.- SUMMER TEA
AUGUST 31 - BOOMSDAY MEMBERSHIP EVENT
Our Annual Museum Membership Drive provides an excellent view of downtown Knoxville and the fireworks off Henley St. Bridge. Visitor’s can enjoy food and music before the fireworks display, and guided tours of the musum will be offered.
OCTOBER TBA- HALLOWEEN EVENT
Enjoy a tour of the Civil War Bethel Cemetery with additional activities that are sure to get you in the Halloween spirit!
NOVEMBER 9 - EVELYN HAZEN'S BIRTHDAY
In celebration of Evelyn Hazen’s birthday, the last descendent of the Mabry-Hazen House, we will be providing a variety of desserts throughout the decades that are sure to tickle your tastebuds.
DECEMBER TBA - CHRISTMAS TOURS
Come and visit the Mabry-Hazen House decorated in full Christmas splendor. Light refreshments will be provided.
