Show your support by donating a few volunteer hours to Mabry-Hazen House. With over 7 acres on Mabry's Hill, there is always plenty of groundskeeping that the museum needs help completing. Only have 2 hours? No worries, all are welcome to come and go as they please.

Outdoor Work Day, Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
On Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, we’ll be working outdoors from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Volunteers are welcome to come and go as needed.
We appreciate all the wonderful help you provide, even if you can’t be here for the full time! Needs include mulching, removal of invasive plants, washing the historic house, planting flowers, preparing the garden beds, and general cleaning. Some tools will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring rakes, pitchforks, tarps, and similar yard tools.
Whether you have 1 hour or 4 hours available to volunteer, the museum could use your help!
Water and refreshments will be provided. Event will occur rain or shine.
Meet at the parking lot of Mabry-Hazen House. It is navigable via Google Maps if you search “Mabry-Hazen House Parking” or use the address 1690 Rosedale Ave. If you are approaching the site from Dandridge Ave. heading east, you will see signs for parking on your right. Rosedale Ave. is located between Morningside Community Center and Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Water and refreshments will be provided. Registration is not required.
